from an early age: twinzilla is the only one of us who knew in college she wanted to go into weddings. she got her wedding planning certification and degree related to planning.
season started with hdz: 2008
favorite part of weddings: the something old/new/borrowed/blue. she loves to see the creativity that goes into selecting these four items.
favorite part of the wedding day: the father daughter dance – it always chokes her up!
best moment while working an hdz wedding: heidzilla joked that she and brittzilla always yelled BOOM! when they got something major done at a wedding. twinzilla then proceeded to yell BAM! at a wedding forgetting it was BOOM!
toughest moment at hdz: while setting up a ceremony a reception, the rain moved in out of no where. guests were about to arrive for an outdoor ceremony and we had to relocate everything and everyone to the tent as quickly as possible…while also setting said tent for very detailed dinner/reception. Of course we pulled it off…because we’re awesome!
must have beauty tool/makeup: maybe not tool/makeup…but I’d say tissues. tissues and pins…you always need both
must get photo: the groom’s face when the bride walks in.
favorite song to get the crowd dancing: twinzilla says she’s clueless and relies on the dj or band.
favorite cake flavor + filling: any cake with ganache filling!
can’t forget detail: proper seating arrangements/matching to tables and place cards. amazing how many mistakes happen in this area
