we get it! we’ve been recently married, too, so we know what it’s like to be excited, anxious, annoyed, thrilled, inspired… all while paying some MAJOR bills.
we’ll use whatever communication style is best for you; we’ve planned with our clients via meetings, phone calls and email… video chat, instant message and text message. you’ll love our flexibility – especially if you’re planning from out of town.
we know you have a life other than wedding planning. (at least one of us does!) we’ll keep you on schedule and on budget and relieve as much time – and stress – from the planning process as we can.
we’re not set in our ways. every wedding we plan is custom to what our clients want. we want to incorporate you – not do things the way we’ve done something a dozen times before.
we know who the great vendors are and who is right for you. and that makes you their repeat customer when you work with us.

we’re not the bride’s planner, rather we’re the couples’ planner. it takes two! and sometimes mom and dad and friends, too.
we’re not a $100,000+ budget wedding planner. we’re practical and realistic, while still creative and innovative. our niche is with gumptious midwest couples. our work ethic comes from our blue collar roots.
we’re not going to experience all of the wedding planning for you. we want to experience with you. we keep our clients involved in the process and give you as much or as little help as you want. you won’t hand over your check book and see us in 12 months.
we don’t know what’s happening on wedding shows. we don’t watch them. we’re too busy planning your wedding to see all of the selective editing and false dramatizing of events.
we’re not much for the latest and greatest trends. by the time many trends make it to the midwest market, they’re one to four years old. we want your wedding to be about you and what you like, not what’s “in” right now.
we won’t be your splurge enablers. we treat your budget as if it was our own money. there may come a time we suggest you reconsider before you buy every bell and whistle.
we’re not know-it-alls nor “experts.” no one is. we learn a little something new with every client and every wedding. and to each their own, we like to say. we hate judgey and expected.
