meet leigh
leigh was a huge supporter of heidZILLAS from the company’s inception, but from naples, fl. she returned to her home state of ohio in early 2011 and had a meeting with heidi while taking a break from unpacking her new home. she’s been on our roster of coordinators ever since. during the week she is a nanny part-time. that is, when she isn’t helping to plan one of her eight best friends’ weddings in the past two years! leigh is also in the hdz office part-time and has a hand in some hdz full planning services as well. we’re glad we nabbed her as her last of the bff’s weddings is this june!

from an early age: leigh’s love of weddings began with her original career aspirations of becoming a wedding dress designer. she worked for jessica mcclintock while in college, and loved helping brides style their big day

favorite part of weddings: fashion will always be her first wedding love! she thinks there are just so many amazing designers and looks to choose from, in every price point. she can tell a lot about a bride by the gown she chooses
favorite part of the wedding day: seeing the groom’s reaction when the bride walks down the aisle
best moment while working an hdz wedding: seeing our 12.10.11 bride’s reaction. she was so happy she cried, and so did heidi!
funniest thing seen at a wedding: her father in law doing the “gator” at her own wedding has yet to be topped
toughest moment at hdz: while running a ceremony on a town square, there was no power for mics and ceremony music and no one knew how to turn it on! she had to track down someone from the city without much time, but got it done!
