heidzillas in the news: 2012 awards

heidzillas is excited to announce we’ve received two cleveland wedding planner recognition awards for our 2011 season. it is our third consecutive year for being acknowledged for the awards. both are based on the 5 star reviews we receive from our clients – so thank you to the brides, grooms – and moms! – who took the time to review our services in the past year! it’s humbling to see your kind words!

my beloved alma mater, kent state university, did a feature story on founders scholars in the fall issue of kent state magazine. i am a proud max and cil draime medallion founders scholarship recipient, one of the highest honors i’ve ever, ever received. so what a nice surprise to be featured in the twentieth anniversary article. thanks to andrew jordan photography for providing kent state with the photo. and an extra special thanks to kent state university, the founders scholarship program and max and cil draime, and daily kent stater student media. you’re all responsible for who i am and who heidzillas is, too.

thanks to our friend dj aj9 at something new entertainment, heidzillas had the opportunity to talk to the dj industry magazine, mobile beat, about our opinion of wedding coordinators working collaboratively with dj’s. we were pleasantly surprised by another dj friend, jim at my life media when he sent us the link of the article with our quote! you can read the entire article on page 20.

mark your calendars and set your dvrs now! as mentioned in previous posts, two of our december 2010 clients were filmed with white flower cake shoppe as a part of this season’s amazing wedding cakes show on wetv!

courtney and brent’s gift box cake will air THIS sunday, april 17, at 10:00 pm est on wetv

tracy and tony’s bedazzled jewel cake will air sunday, may 8, at 10 pm est on wetv.

we can’t wait to see the film footage of the well, amazing, cakes and awesome wedding days!

in other heidzillas news, i’m excited to say i’ve been asked to join the wish upon a wedding ohio board, as the volunteer coordinator for the cleveland area. it was my honor to serve as a wish granter for dolores and bill’s wedding wish in december, so i’m very excited to help the ohio organization schedule more wish granters for our future wishes. another wish is underway, so ohio vendors, if you haven’t already: sign up to be a wish granter here!
