while most brides and grooms only get the opportunity to hire somewhere between five to twelve local wedding companies, there are scores of great vendors are here in northeast ohio. dozens of my blog posts include vendors i’ve met, vendors i’ve worked along side, or vendors who are brand new and just getting in the business but this is the first dedicated post for a vendor who is leaving our ranks.
stacy and stephanie of paper persuasions announced yesterday that this is their last wedding season. after careful consideration and five successful years in business, they’ve decided to pursue other opportunities for a “better work/life balance.” while the news of the store closing is definitely a shock for some, it’s no surprise to their customers that these hard-working caring girls hope for some more time with their families.
being a wedding vendor is a wonderful and challenging struggle of being a hired retailer and a caring confidant/friend/long-lost family member all at the same time. it takes graceful, patient people who know how to run a business but also who care about their customers needs during one of the most special times in their lives. if anybody knew how to do that locally, it was the owners of paper persuasions. their clients love them, as attested on their site. so much so, paper persuasions won first place on the fox 8 hotlist not once or twice – but three years in a row.
your clients and we vendors were lucky to work with you in the past five years. a client of yours, robyn z, said it perfectly:
“I feel so blessed to have you be a part of my day. You went above and beyond expectations and made everything that much more special. Thank you for all your hard work and caring. You were there every step of the way not just as advisors in the industry but as friends.”
thank you stephanie and stacy for being such outstanding northeast ohio wedding vendors. you set a wonderful example for what local wedding customer service should be – i know i’m not the only one who looked up to your wedding business. (i also thank you for all of the personal encouragement in the past two years!) your store, products and services and you two personally will be sorely missed. best wishes in your new endeavors!

DJ AJ9 - Well said, Heidi. Stephanie and Staci, you will be missed! You have made such a difference! People don’t realize how important their stationary is until they’ve had really, really great stationary — and for it to be supplied and crafted by two such caring hearts as yourselves was the most perfect delivery. As you journey into this new chapter in your lives, we wish you and your families the very best for the future! You. Are. Awesome. Now: don’t be a stranger!September 3, 2010 – 7:37 pm
