in the numbers: social media count

if you haven’t noticed yet, i’m a big fan of social media. i spend far too much time on my computer and my iphone reading facebook statuses, stalking tweets and… blogging of course. it’s no secret that other than organic web searches and word of mouth, nearly all of the promotion of the heidzillas business has been through social media. you can find heidzillas on the four major social media “networks” not counting this wordpress-hosted blog. while these numbers may seem sort of arbitrary… i’m extremely proud and grateful for every fan, every follower and everyone who took the time to watch my videos or view my photos.

here are my 2009 social media stats:

over 280 people are “fans” of heidzillas at facebook.com/heidzillas.

nearly 600 tweeple follow the tweets from heidzillas at twitter.com/heidzillas

the dozen videos that are posted on the heidzillas channel have recieved over 1,000 views this year at youtube.com/heidzillas

i’ve taken and uploaded over 4,100 wedding-related photos in 2009 at flickr.com/heidzillas
