in the numbers: trendy napkin fold

move over fans and pyramids, because the draped napkin fold was the “in fold” for 2009. nine of my 25 weddings this year had draped-over-the-table napkin folds!

what i really like about this fold is that it draws your guests’ eyes to the center of the table with all napkins pointing straight towards your centerpiece decor. it’s also condusive to favor cards, place cards or other stationery or favors to be placed right on top to be noticed and then not be lost amongst the decor, salt and pepper shakers, plates of butter, creamer containers, etc.
