traci and chuck had so many wonderful touches at their wedding – all in pool and black of course! – including hand cut corners and ribbon tied programs…
…and hand painted painted aisle runners as seen in a guest blogger/heidzilla how to!

when i arrived, after assisting the bride and her maids as best as i could (zippers are fickle, by the way!) i went down to the ceremony area to prepare the aisle runner.

meanwhile, hal from dv8ed photography was able to get some pre-ceremony photos of the bride and groom (seperately!)

fun action shot of the view from videographer john of red moment‘s camera.

on one of my trips from the ceremony area to the bride’s suite, i was able to catch an overhead shot of the ceremony space before guests arrived.

the processional was a wee bit tricky being that most of the hallways and walkways the bridal party had to access were visible to guests – and chuck who hadn’t seen traci yet! see her in the way back?

but after a minor “delay of game” with the suuuuuper cute ringbearer, we got everyone down the aisle without a hitch!
the ceremony was succinct and funny, just as the bride and groom requested of their officiant.

AND the hockey team came back to see the wedding!

as well as some other hotel guests spectators…

and finally, the new mr. & mrs!
