i don’t think i’ve ever laughed as much at a rehearsal as i did this past friday. jessica and brandon’s entire bridal party and family were excited and having a lot of fun together. and when you have 24 bridal party members plus a ring bearer and 8 parents, what’s better than a lot of love and humor? everyone gathered up at fairlawn west ucc around 6 to do a run through with pastor loar.
after everyone had an idea of where their places would be, we did the massive line up and started the processional.
jessica and brandon’s wonderful parents all played a part in blessing the couple’s marriage on saturday.
and their maid of honor and best man quickly caught on that they’d be by jessica and brandon’s side quite a bit on saturday (more on that in the reception post!)
because there were 11 on each side, two lines had to be formed to fit everyone nicely on the altar.
pastor loar described the next day’s ceremony and also let the couple know that they would be off the hook for few minutes during the homily when he would talk to guests instead of them.
speaking of laughter, this is my favorite rehearsal photo of the year. jessica said something she maybe should have worded a little differently while practicing the marriage ceremony. it took a few minutes for everyone – me included – to stop laughing with her…
…but we all got it together and did the practice announcement…
…and recessional.
then came all the lovely bridal party pairs!

even ringbearer julian practiced his running down the aisle. soooo cute!
