friday night, becky and ed’s 8 bridal party members, family and a few friends gathered at our lady of mt. carmel for the rehearsal. it was a rather boisterous evening, as just down the hall the elementary was holding a halloween party – including a haunted hallway! we had to venture through several mini-cheerleaders and rock stars and mummies to get to the church.
father andy welcomed everyone and ran through what would be happening on saturday.
of course the most important part to practice was the processional.
in addition to the four bridesmaids and four groomsmen, becky and ed had two ringbearers (their nephews) and two flower girls (ed’s daughter and becky’s goddaughter.)
becky was escorted by her cousin.
father andy gets the line up just right.
during the mass run through, i caught a wave from the altar.
we had the readers practice so they could hear themselves over the mike.

and, the final blessing
after the practice recessional and a few last minute questions, everyone was ready for the next day. and they really were, too!
