i’m going to attempt to limit my adjectives when describing kim and ryan’s decor - not because i don’t have a lot to say about it but because once i fear i may gush too much. kim’s taste is impeccable and she tied in the existing decor at the ritz carlton cleveland to the max. as noted in the ceremony post, their colors were champagne golds, whites/ivorys and pale pinks. guests were mesmerized by all of the little details and special touches. those touches, coupled with the top notch service and food by the ritz carlton, cocktail hour music by matt skitzki and reception music by bottom line, made the entire night truly a magical celebration for kimberly and ryan.
decor inspiration came from three chandeliers in the main reception room:

as well as the walls sconces with hanging crystals:

the candleabras from national party rental tied in perfectly with those sconces.

the gold chivari chairs were rented from miller’s rentals.

tables included a dozen votive candles which made the candlebras twinkle even more, rose petals and gold framed table numbers…

… as well as the silver place settings and menus tucked into the napkins.

the three bridal party tables had tall large rose and hydrangea centerpieces by a secret garden.
those three tables lined the dance floor which was adjacent to the band stand for bottom line, a jerry bruno band.
now back outside in the cocktail hour area:
there were three credenzas along the main wall for a guest book, cake and gifts. in lieu of a traditional guest book, kim and ryan asked guests to write them notes on small cards that were then hung on crystal-covered branches. the glass container base of the tree was filled with even more crystals.

kim found antique silver trays for the wish tags…
… as well as antique gold frames for photos of the two of them.

the pale pink cake was made by white flower cake shoppe…

…and was flanked by tall crystal candle holders as well as short crystal votive holders.
the gift table included three antique gold candle holders also adorned with hanging crystals , a large monogram painted by kim’s sister in law in antique gold paint and antique frame, strewn with more crystals, complete with a vintage bird cage, which also had antique gold finish.

the escort card table included a large baby’s breath arrangement, also by a secret garden.

i lined the entire center of the table with actual crystals although from a distance it appeared like a silver runner.
the overhead lighting made the entire table sparkle in the center of the room. all eyes were immediately drawn to the table and thus the escort cards by paper trails to you.
the champagne tower was probably the thing i was most excited to see done. (i think kim would say the same thing). the glasses were rented from aable rents and the ritz carlton did the entire set up. we utilized a few more crystals to create the starburst look with the glasses on the table.
this part of the room had the tasty aroma of champagne for most of the night. i need a champagne-scented candle now or something…
i caught a few video snippets of the pouring of the champagne. mmm… champagne. my favorite!
…including an hors d’oeuvres menu provided by the bride.

the cocktail tables featured with linens by l’nique that complemented the wall coverings and of course the rest of kim and ryan’s decor.

also in the cocktail room was the rad booth.

kim had me hang this cute little mirror on it for guests. great idea kim!

of course i had to get a few shots guests loving their photos and the scrap book.

while guests were enjoying dinner, the ritz carlton staff and i turned the escort card table into a cookie table. i’m pretty sure this photo demonstrates just how much the guests enjoyed the treats.

the pink take home boxes had kim and ryan’s monogram sticker on top…

as did the favors – chocolate croissants for breakfast!
we re-purposed the baby’s breath arrangement and cake table votive holders for the favors table (previously the champagne tower table.)
