saturday morning, i picked up breakfast from panera (yum) and dropped it off at vanity lab in westlake where jen and her maids were getting hair and make up done. on the main door of the salon was a cute sign greeting the bridesmaids who had never been there before.
serious yummage. yes i said yummage and yes i just made that word up.
jen was there first and had a little while by herself with the make up artist to get her day started before the other maids arrived.
a couple of hours later, we arrived at the church where i did my rounds making sure everything was ready, such as the gorgeous flowers from fresh tendrils florist, for the ceremony to start.
meanwhile, the pastoral associate andy went over any last minute processional questions with the mothers…
…and ushering was going on from the front as the main entrance from the parking lot was near the altar to the back and around.
matron of honor mary beth caught a cute photo of jen and her father right before the ceremony.
after the lighting of the candles our procession was underway! my favorite part of the day was jen telling her matron of honor and i – right before walking down the aisle – how father tim asked her if she had a message for brian before the ceremony and it was the same message brian told father tim to give to her! now that is darling.

this little pumpkin was soooo cute during the ceremony. she clapped every time the soloist finished a song. it was so sweet.
