at last, it’s here! i am bursting at the SEAMS for this wedding to arrive! jen contacted me back in december and i’ve been helping her plan ever since.
other than the general vendor-related planning, we’ve predominantly worked on the general concept of the reception decor. the venue, 100th bomb group has a distinct world war ii feel and there’s the obvious aviation influence.


there will be a cool view of cleveland hopkins international airport once it’s dark. look at that sweet chandelier, too, by the way.


jen and brian met while working for sun newspapers, so we wanted to tie in that in someway. it’s fitting there are actual reprinted news stories on the walls of the hallway leading into the reception room:


the rest of the decor involves a perfect ebay find, some antique store purchases and some things found in my basement (seriously… my favorite part, too!) i really really want to sneak peek a few photos of the decor i’ve been developing but i’ll save it for the in-venue photos. you’ll just have to come back next week for the full wedding weekend recap.
