i think maureen and adam are the luckiest couple i’ve ever met. not only being lucky in love, of course, they’ve won not one, not two… or even three — but FOUR wedding contests locally! their photography package was a part of a wedding essay contest put on by genevieve and james nisly, andrew jordan and tom forrest. they also happened to win save the dates as well as a boudoir shoot contest from leah stafford. the fourth and final contest they won was my “hey! it’s may!” tungsten ring giveaway. after that, maureen decided to talk to me about my day of coordination services, so lucky me!

i’ve gotten more and more pumped for this wedding as it approached because of all the familiar vendors i get to work with – and a couple of new ones too. andrew jordan and i did a quick site tour of maureen and adam’s BREATHTAKING church – hudson community chapel - back in july. i was stunned by the size and magnanimity of this modern place of worship. baumann’s florist happens to be a family friend of maureen’s and i’ve driven past their location but haven’t seen their work in person just yet. i’m excited to go back to guys party center where i helped jennifer and robert back in may. i fiiiiinally get to WORK with andrew jordan and tom forrest who i’ve gotten to know and love this past year. i just worked with ted of tko entertainment two weeks ago at meghan and cameron’s wedding… and i get to see my dear friend jacqui of cmykakes – who designed tara and cj’s cake back in june. oh and all occasions, definitely know them from my own wedding and several more since then.
it’s going to be a great wedding and maureen’s decor is perfect for the first weekend of autumn with all of the leaves changing and such. be sure to come back next week to see my recap of all the special fall-inspired touches at this wedding!
