this weekend: amber & zach

i am so excited about this weekend’s wedding, i don’t even know where to start. i’ve nicknamed it my “big fat slovenian wedding” as there will be 400+ guests and 26 person bridal party, mostly zach’s slovenian family. aweeeee-some! oh and there will be slevovitz. sorry, after svetlana and sandor’s reception, i can’t be part of that tradition… “slevo” = migraine inducer.

anyways, amber found me through word of mouth, but come to find out she’s an old friend of my husband’s! i had heard her name so many times it was funny to finally meet her through her from her inquiry about my services. since april, i’ve been helping her and zach with some planning and of course will be doing the day of coordination with a guest helper, who i’m excited to bring along.

amber has been such an amazingly patient bride. she had a major venue change because of unforeseen circumstances, and then a couple of days before her wedding shower, her mom’s house where it was to be held was flooded along with several other homes in north ridgeville… with a sewer back up. there were some other hysterical stories that have happened along the way, one that is actually not pg enough to share on a blog… one where i almost lost the job because amber and zach went to vegas… one i won’t share even though amber is a sport of about her body image… and one where she hurt herself pretty badly. but hopefully the pre-wedding craziness is all finished because we’re set to have an awesome day in marblehead tomorrow!
