disclaimer – i broke my point and shoot last saturday, so here’s a rehearsal recap with just iphone photos. they didn’t turn out too overly badly, actually : )…
this past thursday evening was meghan and cameron’s rehearsal. it was nice to have a day earlier than normal so they could get any last minute things done on friday and not have to rush to the rehearsal. and it was nice for me to have a friday night off : ). i met the bride and bridal party in the parking lot for introductions before heading into st. francis de sales church in parma.
father vrana gathered everyone to go through saturday’s mass.
once everyone was partnered up, father walked everyone through a few must knows before we did a walk through of the ceremony.

at st. francis, the girls walked partially down the aisle by themselves, and then were met by their groomsmen partners to be escorted the second half of the way.
meghan’s father, john, passed away when she was very young and her uncle kevin filled the duties of the bride’s escort.
once everyone was down the aisle, father vrana did a superb job giving everyone their places.
wedding photographers have to LOVE father vrana’s precise style. he made sure everyone knew their marks in order to line up to get the best symmetrical and organized photos.
a description of the vows – no practice though or they’d be married two days early!
finally, the blessing for the couple, the announcement and we were all rehearsed and ready for saturday!
