weddings are bound to produce really touching moments. i get at least a little choked up at every wedding i work – usually during the ceremony : ). the most special, touching moment from my year so far was when my bff codi‘s brother, eric, did a speech about being honored to walk her down the aisle and be the one to dance with her since their father had passed unexpectedly just three months before hand. there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. i admit, i cried through the whole dance. it was very moving.
two other really memorable touching moments were in june. tara‘s father, douglas, gave a speech and a prayer. he thanked his wife robin, for being such a wonderful mother who had taught tara so well and they knew she’d be a wonderful mother, too. it was so sweet, and if you know tara, you know that’s so true.
another special moment was seeing amy and jeremy‘s love story put together by focus on you videography. all the guests watching had tears in their eyes during the video snippets of individual interviews about how they fell in love. it was especially darling when amy talked about jeremy loving her daughters.

Corey Ann - Oh god Eric. Don’t even mention it, I’ll start crying again. Devin was the one that got me going, I took a reaction shot of people and he was crying so hard I started.August 25, 2009 – 10:29 am
Tara - Go Doug! His speech was so… him. And yes, I think the shout-out to my mom was big brownie points from everyone! :)August 25, 2009 – 9:11 am
