in the first half of the year, i’ve worked with some wonderful djs, a few bands, and ceremony musicians. the most memorable of the entertainment acts had to be the performance by jerry bruno production’s kelvis at c.c. and kevin’s wedding in april. he livened up the afternoon brunch by performing several songs – one for the couple’s first dance, one that the groom was able to rock out to, and a couple of others that woo-ed the ladies. the guests loved the surprise and post-performance got some photos with the crooner.
an honorable mention for a wonderful entertainment act that i’ve seen so far this year was the northeast ohio jazz orchestra at amy and jeremy’s june wedding. the band played some traditional big band tunes and also rocked the grand exit with the star wars theme when the couple ran through a sparkler exit. there’s nothing like a multi-piece band to get guests dancing.
