so if you’ve ever met me in person, you probably know i love quotes. as in, things said by people i know, even though i do also love quoting favorite movie lines, or politicians, or commercial tag lines, etc. i have a running list of funny quotes from friends and family that i keep in my iphone, i have a word document of funny things said while i’m at my day job, etc. and naturally, i now have a couple written down of funny things said while i’m working weddings.
my favorite quote of the year came from lindsay on july 11. you might have had to be there, but while her bridesmaids and i were spending several minutes trying to figure out the best way to get her veil attached to her up do, she said very cool and calmly said,
“getting married is so complicated!”
oh so true, and oh so funny being that it was moments before the wedding.
