heidzilla meets: westsiders! yaaaaaaaaay.

i’ve said it before, i’ll say it again: i have met so many good people in my first year of business and i’ve made some awesome new friends. the only problem is most of my new friends live in east or south cuyahoga county area, or the akron/canton area so i drive a lot to go see them. to prove my point, i’d like to note that i just hit the 5,000 miles mark on my new car (which turned 2 months old yesterday.) oops.

i’m currently a westsider. (west siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide! ::flash gang signs:: …kidding.) i like the west side a lot. there are some really cool people i know who live on my side of town. and i just met two more last night!

my neighbor slash new vendor friend, jeana diguiseppe koerber of jdk invitations designs custom invitations “for any style and budget.” i got to see her awesome variety of oh-so-popular pocket folds last night. belly bands, seals, envelope liners, bling - you name it, she does it just how you want it. and she has a blog so you know she’s cool. be sure to see her online gallery to see the range of work she does (non-pocket folds too :) ).

i also met frank caruso of caruso images who is also a neighbor vendor. frank has been working as a wedding photographer for quite some time now and knows the west side better than my bff codi. (that’s a feat, if you know codi.) he offers customized packages based on the duration you’d like a photographer, a wide variety of albums, online hosting, dvd slideshows, again – you name it. check out his wedding work here.

in other news…. my husband and i will be eastsiders again (we’re both originally from the east side) by october. but i’m so very glad to have met some awesome west siders while i was only a few  blocks away.
