okay, let me first talk about how CUUUUUUUUUUTE these door initials were that carolyn made. branch wreaths + moss letters. so fun. the doors were open when guests arrived so the “c” was on the bride’s side and the “j” was on the groom’s side.

i did my rounds around the church to be sure the unity candle was in place and the alter arrangements and pew decs weren’t moved from the night before.

i got to put the green petals in the also awesome flowergirl baskets. again branches and moss. carolyn did an excellent job tying everything together — keep these baskets in mind for tomorrow’s reception post!

i have to say i’m getting more and more handy at pinning bouts. albeit i will also admit that i poked my first person. i warned her i might, jokingly. she said i could, jokingly. i did poke her, not on purpose. sorry again cousin!

once decor was checked over i made sure the guys were behaving… i make no guarantees there as a day of coordinator ;) but this group of guys were super so we didn’t have much to worry about.

i headed next door to the rectory to check on the bride. she had her gorgeous grin on and looked rather comfortable relaxing in this chair. i got a good chuckle and she let me take her photo. i told you this wedding was going to be fun. i was right.

pretty soon it was time to get carolyn out of the chair and walk her into the church.

a darling moment between the show stealers flowergirls.

and another darling moment of the bride doting on the flower girls.

after beautiful renditions of “all i ask of you”, “one hand, one heart” and “ave maria” by carolyn and jim’s wonderful vocalist-friends, it was time for the processional to start. the maids and the bride all walked to “canon in d” which is probably my favorite processional song.

this was the last look i got at the ceremony before heading over to st. noel’s banquet center.
