i often get to go “on location” with my brides and grooms and their party while their doing photos. i try to stay out of the way of the photogs so they can do their thang, but anticipate any errand running or veil holding etc that needs done during the formal photography shoot. my favorite photo opp stop i was at this year (twice actually) was stan hywet. the grounds and gardens offer a variety of locations to get great shots – for entire parties or just the bride and groom. here’s a photo from jennifer and robert’s wedding in may 30. they also did their first look photos and ceremony there – taking full advantage of all of the great places to shoot with mark davidson.

an honorable mention for a photo opp stop is sheraton suites in cuyahoga falls. you’re essentially limited to the long, skinny and semi-winding rock patio, but the hotel jutting out over the falls makes for a very unique back drop. riverfront photography took lindsay and aaron and their entire bridal party out on the patio area, and also did photos of just the two of them.
