if you’re going by a calendar, half of the wedding season is over! may, june, and july were a whirlwind for me. i can’t believe it’s august. this friday will be my tenth wedding of the season, if anyone was counting. even though 4 months are down and 4 more months are left in the extended wedding “season” (april-november), i’m not even close to halfway through my 2009 schedule. late summer/fall seem to be oh-so-popular this year. regardless, i thought i’d start a halfway through the season – “the year so far” recap of some of my favorite things i’ve seen at the weddings i’ve been honored to work, and maybe a few faves from weddings i’ve attended, too.
