lindsay & aaron – part 1: rehearsal

lindsay and aaron’s rehearsal was rather key because it was an “away game” for their officiant, reverend joe mamich and everyone needed to get acquainted with the church’s set up. their home church, holy family parish, has been ungoing major renovations and was unavailable for their wedding day. when that door closed, a window opened, as lindsay’s mom bonnie often reminded us with the twists and turns they encountered with their planning. our lady of victory is a beautiful church with the traditional long aisle and an amazing stained glass window in the back (remember how i loooove stained glass windows?)

as rehearsals tend to start, reverend joe went through the mass’s order and the participants’ roles.

we got everyone to the back to line up… i mean for photos :)… for the practice processional.

words of wisdom from reverend joe during the practice processional: if you think you’re going too slow, go slower.

there were several instructions and practice for aaron in regards to walking behind lindsay’s veil…

lindaaronreh-21

…which led to aaron thinking he should stand very very far away from his bride-to-be!

lindaaronreh-23

moh amanda also practiced her “foofing” of the invisible veil during the rehearsal. (can you tell everyone was having a fun time? at a rehearsal no less!)

lindaaronreh-25

speaking of fun, bryan was proooooobably my favorite best man ever. he was an old pro on the duties of the best man, including keeping the rings on his pinky instead of in a deep pocket where they could get lost.

invisible veils… invisible rings…

lindaaronreh-39

…invisible flames :)
