saturday could not have been a more beautiful day for tara and cj’s wedding. the skies were bright, it was a warm gorgeous june afternoon with the pretty white puffy clouds in the sky. the day just screamed “perfect wedding day.” my doc day started making some pick up and deliveries to tara and cj’s reception venue. once that was all done, i headed to the church right before the limo was arriving with the entire bridal party who had come from tara’s parents house where they did getting ready, “first look” and formal photos with the always awesome rachel and ted linczak.
when i got there i met up with bay presbyterian’s lovely coordinator, sue, who brought me up to speed. we got out the fabulous programs that tara diy-ed…

…and placed the guest book. tara’s mom and dad signed it right away to give guests the right idea.
meanwhile, colleen from blooms by plantscaping made sure all the gents were pinned…

…while i visited with the bride and bridesmaids who were in waiting, and drooled all over their bouquets.
back in the foyer, the mother of groom took some photos of the groom and his men.

once the alter arrangements and aisle runner had been placed, it was time for them to “hide” too.
sue gave the moms a few directions for the candle lighting just as guests started to arrive.
we all took our places – below: rachel linczak.
once the grandparents and parents were down the aisle, sue brought the ladies out to line up.

tara and cj had quite possibly the cutest flower girl and ring bearer of all time. she was these twins’ nanny for two years before moving back to the cleveland area.
somewhere in here i admit i started getting choked up. i gave tara and her father the biggest smile ever and fluffed her train before she headed down the aisle to become a mrs. *tear* i’ve known tara for so much of her planning it was really special for me to help her the final moments before the ceremony. i think i was more emotional during her processional than i was for MY OWN wedding! (i TOLD you were were wedding besties!)
anyways, back to the gorgeousness: bay presbyterian is extremely lovely with the natural light and large stage-like alter. below: tara being “given” by her father.

once cj had his bride’s arm and the ceremony was fully underway, i gained my composure and headed back to their reception venue to finish set up.
