friday afternoon, while i was on i-90 headed to the church, i passed kristen and brian and their wedding party in the a1 mr. limo headed to rocky river park for photos!
they had perfect weather – a tinge cooler than the day before because of the nice breeze coming through, not to mention the church’s a/c was on full blast on friday! (it wasn’t on thursday and boy was it warm.)

the bridesmaids bouquets were really unique – and VERY fragrant.
bellflower string quartet was positioned with the church organist in the balcony/loft area:
kristen borrowed rings from her mom to put on the ring bearer’s pillow. (the real rings were with the best man.)
once the bridal party got there from their on-location shoot, they did formals before guests arrived. action shot of photographer tom from poses a studio.

next, we gathered everyone involved in the processional in the curtained off area of the foyer. kristen had to be un-bustled…
…and i got to help her put her veil on

the bridesmaids were peeking at guests as they arrived since the main doorway was just behind the curtain.
i passed the programs which matched perfect with the wedding – many guests complimented them.
then it was time to line up…
… and once the aisle runner was in place, the processional started.
kristen and brian chose to do the full catholic mass, completed with three readers – first kristen’s aunt…
…followed by brian’s father and later kristen’s brother.

once the ceremony was over halfway through, i snuck to the back to prepare the door opening and the bubble passing. and… i tried to get creative with my camera through the back windows.
yeah, i’ll leave that to my photographer friends and stick to being a day of coordinator.

and the bridal party filed right out to the limo to head to the city club for the reception.
