amy & jeremy – part 1: rehearsal

it was a beautiful june evening for amy and jeremy’s rehearsal.  sunny and warm with a lovely cool breeze was coming off of the lake.  i didn’t get a ton of photos on friday – and i think even fewer the next day during the ceremony and reception being that i played a much bigger role coordinating all weekend.

amy and jeremy’s family and bridal party gathered to take their first go at the path for the processional and recessional.

jeff martell of the chapel did a wonderful job going through the next day’s events to relieve any worries and nervousness about the ceremony that the bride and groom and bridal party had.

i knew it was going to be an emotional day on saturday when we were already getting teary-eyed during the rehearsal friday!!!

ceremony

amy decided to move the ceremony chair set up back several yards from where we thought it’d have to be a few weeks earlier. the new location provided just the right amount of shade in the grassy “alter” area. from there was a great view of the tent and the tudor house.

moving the chairs back also enabled a perfect view of the lake for guests.

we had it all figured out on friday… and hey look, there’s bob of focus on you videography. krista must have been behind me at the time.

while we were there to rehearse the ceremony, i was able to take a sneak peek in the tent to get a sense of the space and how tables would be set up.

dance floor and band area

jeremy had heard that a and b tent rental set up a brand new tent for them, and it looked great. the arched “windows” were a classy touch.

i LOVED these chandeliers they hung. they were a big part of the lovely ambiance on saturday evening.
