i admit that i get overly excited about all of the weddings i get to coordinate this year, but my june 13 wedding at the tudor house ranks way up there on my favorites for ’09 list for about a dozen reasons. first off, the bride to be, amy, is one of the nicest people i’ve ever met. second, she’s given me 100% creative freedom with the set up of her decor. you can’t ask for much more than that! third, the venue is beautiful. there are soooo many opportunities to utilize the house and grounds. here’s a few photos sneak peeks of the tudor house. hopefully my descriptions help you to visualize it all!
guests will park in a lot at the end of a short winding driveway and walk up to the front of the house.
through this large door, guests will enter the house…
…and will be greeted and asked to sign the guest book before…
dropping off gifts in this dining area and heading back out of the house towards the crudités and to be seated for the ceremony.
pre-ceremony, the bride and her maids have their own room upstairs…
…to get ready…
…and peek at guests as they arrive.
the groom and his men will be downstairs where they can relax… or play shuffleboard!
back outside, the ceremony chairs and lantern-lit aisle way will be in this vicinity.
guests will have a lovely partial lake view from this part of the lawn.
this is a tentative view the bride and groom will have of the seated guests from where the “alter” area will be placed.
post-ceremony guests will be able to head back into the house…

…while the bridal party will be able to take photos in the grotto area and near the lake.
on the other side of the house, a large tent will be set up for the reception in this vicinity.

appetizers will be under this tree, just outside the tent.
all the final preparations for amy and jeremy’s big day are underway… there are so many more amazing details i want to gush about, but you’ll have to come back for the wedding recap after june 13…
reasons four, five, six….twelve… for why i can’t *wait* for this wedding coming soon!
