heidzilla helps: postage rate reminder

don’t forget… you have 10 more u.s. mail delivery days before postage rates go up on may 11. here is my original post about stamp options if you need to send your invitations out soon… for weddings from mid-june to mid-july, you should be licking those envelopes and sticking those stamps soon if you haven’t yet! and don’t forget to mark the rsvp envelopes/postcards with enough postage to get it back to you when they reply AFTER may 11.

the good news is there are two wedding-designed stamp options already avaialble on usps.com. i’m sure local post office availability is limited yet, but i have ordered stamps through usps.com before and it came in just a couple of days.

for the heavier 2 oz. invitations, there is a $0.61 option out – cake!:

for your $0.44 options, there are wedding rings:

orrrrrrr you can use the simpsons, the purple heart, or… big shock, right?… a flag:

for $0.28 postcard stamps, the only option so far is a polar bear. (i have to think this will go with more invitations than $0.27 neon fruit…)

hey usps, if you’re reading this: more brides and grooms’ are using postcards for their wedding r.s.v.p.s these days!!!  please come out with some cute wedding postcard rate stamps!

see what’s all available at usps.com here, or try: zazzle.com,  stamps.com,  artisticpostage.com  or ebay.

Stephanie - The stamp that features the rings is lovely. With all of the polar bear maulings in the news, I might stay away from that particularly menacing-looking option.May 1, 2009 – 6:15 am
