the owner, lisa madel, has been in the business for nearly 10 years designing entrance containers and gardens. her new store offers flowers and plants that are perfect for the brides who are looking for local northeast ohio vendors for their green weddings.
green thumbs gardens and gifts offers cut flowers from their local garden, often for less than the local florists who ship in non-local flowers. their seasonal inventory includes lady’s mantle, false blue indigo, snap dragons and a variety of fillers. in addition to the cut stems available, gtg&g has topiaries, orchids and blooming potted plants that are perfect for table arrangements or entranceways at your cleveland-area wedding or bridal shower.
AND she’ll be offering one particular flower that i know so many spring brides are after: peonies!!! in late may and early june, visit gtg&g for $2 per stem peonies – some stems having more than one bloom - in light and dark pink and white.
here are some photos of the popular flowers that are grown at green thumb gardens and gifts:

Glenn Griffith - Lisa is very helpful. Her “bouquet of the day” concept and other products and services are extraordinary. If you want to impress your sweetheart, here’s your chance for five bucks. We’re lucky to have such a great shop and talented person in our area.May 5, 2009 – 5:24 am
Mary Shaefffer - I was in this darling shop today and noticed that the hot item is the “Bouquet of the Day” which Lisa makes fresh each morning, often with flowers from her own gardens, and sells for $5. So many great gift items for the nature lover. Fun shop, great service.April 1, 2009 – 5:22 pm
