introducing new northeast ohio cake baker, jacqui of CMYkakes! she’s just launched her *new* and *adorable* web site today, and i had to tell you all about it. i have a soft spot in my heart for other up-and-coming wedding vendors, of course ;).

CMYK stands for cyan, magenta, yellow, key/black, by the way.
i first “met” jacqui on the knot. she’s a local bride-to-be who chats on the northeast ohio forum often, especially about a particular wedding photographer she’s hired and loooooooves. then i found out she’s doing a fake cake for my bride-to-be, tara. (designing a styrofoam cake with one real layer for the cake cutting/bite of cake exchange. an affordable way to have a BIG cake and then serve sheet cake with your guests none the wiser! :) )
jacqui’s also one of my fellow kent state university alums (go flashes!) i have utmost faith in her creativity, as she’s just graduated with a degree in visual communications design. that’s saying something. kent state’s vcd program is one of *the best* in the nation, and they don’t just graduate everyone. i’m sure her education is going to translate into amazing cake design. she’s got a few photos up already, so check out her yummy-looking site now!
good luck with your new business venture, jacqui. break a leg spoon! :)
