i had to buy a new shower curtain liner yesterday AND someone on the knot ask me about these… i sort of forgot about them, until being reminded twice in one day!
i wanted to do a nice “thank you” for my husband’s aunts who threw me a beautiful bridal shower at wembley club in chagrin falls. here’s a shot of the yummy food, so darling and wedding shower like!

anyways, as the “thank you” i put together these bathroom organizer baskets with a loofa and mary kay body wash, lotion and spritzer. i wrapped them with cellophane and a tag for whom it was for.
i could have just put regular thank you cards with them, but i wanted to do something a liiiiiittle more fun. a girl on the knot suggested the gift with a similar line for a card, and i wanted to execute the idea as creatively as possible. and, believe it or not, it didn’t take too long.
i cut navy paper into about a 5″ x 7″ rectangle. with a gold marker, i drew a bath tub with “hope your next shower is as nice as mine was. <3 heidi” above it:
then, i cut a section of white shower curtain liner in a smaller rectangle shape, but with a wavy bottom. i also put four tiny slits in the top of the “curtain” and fed a short pearl strand through it. you could also substitute ribbon or even maybe a silver metallic pipe cleaner instead of the pearl strand. in the same gold marker, i wrote “thank you” on the “curtain.” once that was all done, with rubber cement *not white glue!!!* i affixed the left and right corners of the “curtain” and the center section where the pearl strand was on the front, instead of the back, to the paper above my note. i held down the liner for a few moments until i was sure the rubber cement wasn’t still runny. 
make sure your curtain is cut large enough so it covers your note and the top part of the tub. i did that four times and voila: four cute shower cards to go with the mary kay bath items!
