i was looking up an address for the band that played at devin and my wedding, grand avenue band, and saw that they posted their 2008 year in review video testimonials. if you’re not really looking for a wedding band, it’s still fun to see some intoxicated brides or groomsmen swooning over grand avenue band’s sexy lead singers.
after a few minutes into the short version of the testimonials, you can see my husband devin and me talking about how much we LOVED the band! clearly we enjoyed ourselves, we’re all tired and sweating from dancing so much!
there’s also the extended version of the testimonial reel, including guests’ reactions. (my favorites are: the guest who describes how her butt went “bam” while she was dancing… the groomsman talking about their “good look”… the guest who was glad grand avenue band gave them “more cowbell”… and the bride whose eyes couldn’t focus
)
several minutes in, you see devin and me, followed by codi and joe, then my mom’s boyfriend (lol!!!) with my friend bridget trying to get high fives, devin’s coworker alyson, our buddy nate, my fabulous father-in-law, wayne and finally, our best man’s wife, mariah.
if you’re looking for a band for your wedding or special event, i highly recommend them! (*no they didn’t ask me/pay me to post! we hired them for our 08.30.08 wedding after getting a knot recommendation and loved them!!)
