now that she’s bought The Dress, codi is on the search for the perfect birdcage veil. there are a lot of online sites who carry them… but with so many different varieties and colors, they have to be JUST right. so, she’s more apt to buying locally at a bridal store.

(tiger lily/available at all brides beautiful )
for other local northeast ohio brides who are on the search for bird cage veils, too, here are a few notes from codi’s search:
(note: codi’s comments are based on shopping around at these stores at the end of november 2008. be sure to visit/call the stores to find out about their current inventory!)
The Brides Design (Westlake) has a BEAUTIFUL birdcage veil that is an ivory color. It has a feather attached to it, but they can order it with different combs.
The Perfect Bride (Rocky River) has one. It is a bit longer and ivory. It didn’t lay very nice (on me) but they can alter the veil to fit your face.
Leonardo’s (Rocky River) Their alterations people can make one for by hand and you can pick out the fabric and combs.
Catan’s Fashions (Strongsville) had a couple….not too exciting.
All Brides Beautiful (Hudson) The owner is in love with birdcage veils and is getting a few more in from when I was there (in mid-November.) They had the most variety and you can order most of them in your color of choice.
Note from Heidzilla:
Brides by the Falls (Chagrin Falls) had one when I was there in August. It was the smaller kind that just covers your eyes and there’s not as much on the back. It was sooo classic and cute!
