this is not wedding related, but SUCH an interesting, international energy connection project, i absolutely have to share.
i met matthew somerville over ten years ago on a cruise ship. since then, we’ve kept in touch via emails and letters and facebook and he’s come to visit several times, most recently the day after devin and i got engaged. (jan 6, 2008.) i was honored to participate in his september 2001 wedding as a ceremony reader.

he’s traveled the world and has made hundreds of friends from dozens of countries. and… he happens to be one of the most inspiring, interesting people i know.
now, he’s asking all of his international friends to take a photo at the same exact moment in time (yes this means some people on the u.s. west coast are getting up in the middle of the night
).
