heidzillas how to: bathroom baskets

i feel like this project goes hand in hand with yesterday’s about a bridal emergency kit. i was thinking that you can do shopping for both things at once… kill two birds with one stone when you’re in the travel size aisle at target :)

by the way, i have to note that a knot friend, erin (blog writer of baby fat) actually went to several different product websites and ordered the free sample sizes. if she needed more than one, she sent the second request to her parents’ house. she spent barely any money on her bathroom baskets. i, however, was too impatient and lazy and did all my shopping at once and spent close to $100 on women’s and men’s “forget something?” baskets and some items for my emergency kit.

the items definitely add up, but our guests used many of the items (and took the rest home as extra favors?) i barely had anything left in the baskets at the end of the night – which was great! i had so many comments about them, too. “you thought of everything!” i think was the phrase i heard the most :-D
