codi and joe invited me to visit massimo da milano with them last night. we took a tour to get a feel for the space and start planning the decor. the space is really neat because it’s pretty open and very neutral. the walls are beige and there are some white pillars:

there are several windows with accordian pull shades that go about three-quarters the way down.

the back wall has this weird painting on it, but they can take it down. i suggested 4 or 5 color uplights on that wall would be absolutely gorgeous!

tables can be set up as 4 tops, 8 tops or 12 tops. or, long tables one after the other… 12, 16, 20 +++

the other side of the main hall is a long bar with white awnings…

…and an exposed brick wall area where all appetizers, buffet food (if you do buffet instead of sit down), pastries, etc. go.

here are three videos of the space (it was set up for a high school reunion. you’ll see codi and joe in the first video as i pan the space) as always, pardon the quality, these were taken with my point-and-shoot:
main reception area
appetizer and cocktail area
bar area headed out the door
what’s great about massimo is that so much is included. there are two different buffet packages and two different sit down meal packages. included in all packages are linens and napkins (several colors to choose from), gratuity, tax, valet parking, and a champagne toast with strawberries. check out more about the wedding packages massimo da milano’s on their site.
