this saturday is the wedding of my first official client, rebecca and her fiance, daniel. i had chatted a lot with rebecca on the knot during her planning process, so i was familiar with a lot of her decisions before she hired me as her day of coordinator. since then, we’ve exchanged many emails, even more text messages,and met in person twice to go over all her details.
i will be assisting rebecca and dan solely with their reception to be sure all of the set up is done perfectly (while they’re at the ceremony.) i will also be greeting guests as they arrive, making sure all runs smooth the dinner and special dances, serving the cake, and tending to random odds and ends or other problems that may arise.
i’ve got to opportunity to contact their reception vendors ahead of time once i developed a contact sheet and a brief timeline for their evening. some details have changed in the past couple of weeks, including a bakery switcheroo and some decor additions, but the changes are for the better and i can’t wait to help rebecca pull all of her super-organized amazing planning together!
we set up a bulk of the reception on friday night and the reception is saturday night. pictures to follow, of course, but here is a sneak peek at the vendors she and daniel have chosen:
