i was able to help my husband’s best friend, steve, and his wife, mariah, on their wedding day this past summer. at our wedding, he served as our best man. during his amazingly sweet toast to the two of us, he included this short blurb about my DOC-like help during their big day:
Heidi saved the day at Mariah and my wedding when our limo got stuck at the church after our wedding ceremony and was unable to take us to our picture location. Heidi became our problem solver getting my wife into the back seat of her car with her wedding dress, veil, shoes, purse, flowers and other accessories. She promptly instruced me to get in the passenger seat quickly and took us to the picture location to meet our photographer. Definitely a memory my wife and I will never forget. We have been convinced since that day, based on Heidi’s organization, logic, and quick calls from her i-phone, Heidi should seriously consider becoming a wedding planner, it could prove to be a very lucrative business in the future.
