our friend and groomsman, chip, got married this weekend in kentucky. they had the reception at “claudia sanders dinner house” as in coronel sanders’s wife :) it was a really lovely reception hall… but we didn’t get any fried chicken?

chip and casey aren’t big cake fans, so casey surprised chip with a twinkie grooms cake! it was really cute, and fully edible, of course.
local friends introduced them at a local bar where they have since spent hours singing country karaoke. in honor of that, their dj played half dance music and did half karaoke.

chip was rocking out so much, that the bridal party and guests got into the song using votives in lieu of lighters.
there was a dance break in the middle of karaoke… including a swing dance tune. my friend joe threw me around the dance floor (once he reminded me that HE is supposed to lead. oops.)
before we left on sunday, we made sure we got some proper kentucky fried chicken at the best place we could think of to go… KFC :)
fun weekend with friends! and the first of three weddings in about 6 weeks!
